Dr. Andreas Eustacchio is one of the leading lawyers advising SMEs, large companies and groups from Italy on their business activities in Austria. He also represents the interests of Austrian companies and private individuals in Italy alongside a team of Italian lawyers. He advises in Italian, studied in Italy and worked as a visiting lawyer at a renowned business law firm in Milan.

Dr Andreas Eustacchio is the Delegate for Austria of ITALCAM, the German-Italian Chamber of Commerce for Austria. In 2015, the Republic of Italy awarded him the Order of Cavaliere (“Cavaliere dell’Ordine della Stella d’Italia”: Knight of the Order of the Star of Italy) in recognition of his merits and active involvement in promoting economic relations between Italy and Austria and in accompanying significant cross-border business relocations.

With his specialist expertise at the interface of autonomous driving and artificial intelligence, Dr Andreas Eustacchio advises companies on the implementation of safety concepts in digitalised and automated industries. He covers product liability law mandates such as safety, compliance and product recalls throughout the EU.

Dr Andreas Eustacchio has been publishing on product liability law issues for around 20 years. His analysis of product liability for vaccine damages, published in 2021, received international attention.

He is the author of the textbook “Produkthaftung” (Product Liability) and co-author of “Compliance in the distribution chain” in German (Manz 2024) and of “Corporate Compliance” (Manz 2022) as well as a lecturer teaching in English at the Management Centre Innsbruck (MCI) for “International Product Liability” and “Digital Transformation” and at IMC University of Applied Sciences Krems/Danube in “Tourism” and “Digital Business Innovation”.

Autonomous driving

Andreas Eustacchio is Associate Partner for Autonomous Driving at the Virtual Vehicle Research Centre, and lecturer at IMC Krems/Donau, on the “Digital Business Processes and Strategies” course. The University of Applied Sciences Krems awarded him the title of Honorary Professor Hon.Prof. (FH).

International vision

This Austrian with Italian roots who was born in Zambia developed an international perspective from an early age. After completing his law degree at the University of Graz (Mag. iur.) with study visits to the Università di Teramo (Italy) and his doctorate (Dr. iur.), he obtained a Master’s degree in International Business Law (LL.M.) from the London School of Economics. He gained practical international experience as a visiting lawyer in Milan as well as at the European Commission in Brussels and as part of the Austrian trade delegation in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

The passionate hobby runner is considered to be Vienna’s fastest lawyer.
