👉 Autonomous technologies are revolutionizing industries, but ensuring the safe operation of autonomous work machines in public spaces remains a major challenge.
👉 Together with our partners (see below) we from EUSTACCHIO are addressing this with the FFG Project „GUARDIAN“— to develop and recommend safety standards and certifications for autonomous machines in outdoor environments.

👉 Unlike controlled indoor environments, outdoor settings involve unpredictable weather, unstructured terrain, human interaction and unexpected obstacles, as well as the absence of predefined safety measures—all of which add complexity to reliable autonomous operation.
👉 With trials on an autonomous forklift and a truck-mounted crane, GUARDIAN is paving the way for safer, more reliable automation in public spaces. 🚜⚙️
